What is LifeSpeak?

LifeSpeak is a digital wellness platform that promotes both mental and physical health in one seamless experience through on-demand classes, guidance, education, and expert support. LifeSpeak combines AI-powered personalization, evidence-based content, and guidance from real experts. LifeSpeak brings together various wellness tracks, including LifeSpeak Mental Health & Resilience and Torchlight Parenting & Caregiving. On April 1, 2026, the enhanced and fully integrated LifeSpeak platform will replace the existing LifeSpeak and Torchlight tools for federal organizations subscribing to these services through Health Canada’s Employee Assistance Program.

How will I access the new LifeSpeak platform?

The first time you access the new platform after April 1, 2026, you will need to create an account. Visit canada.lifespeak.com, select your organization from the drop-down menu, and create a confidential personal account with an email and password of your choosing. You can continue to access LifeSpeak using your account via canada.lifespeak.com. Be sure to bookmark this site if you have not already.

How do I switch between French and English while using the platform?

At the top of the home page on the upper right, click on the globe icon, and select the language preferred. Once you select a language, it will update the settings in your profile.

The language selected will become your default language. You can toggle between French and English at anytime. Please note: content pages are excluded from this feature at this time.

I am a member of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and used to access LifeSpeak at caf.lifespeak.com. Do I still use this link to access the new platform?

No. Starting April 1, 2026, you will need to create a personal account by going to canada.lifespeak.com, and selecting “Canadian Armed Forces” as your organization. You will no longer need to use the old “canada” access ID; simply create your confidential personal account using an email and password of your choosing.

I am a former member of the CAF or RCMP, or a Veteran and used to access LifeSpeak at veterans.lifespeak.com. Do I still use this link to access the new platform?

No. Starting April 1, 2026, you will need to create a personal account by going to canada.lifespeak.com, and selecting “Veterans Affairs Canada – veteran or former CAF/RCMP member” as your organization. You will no longer need to use the old “canada” access ID; simply create your confidential personal account using an email and password of your choosing.

My organization also offers access to Torchlight Parenting & Caregiving. What happens to my account and profiles after April 1, 2026?

As of April 1, 2026, Torchlight Parenting & Caregiving will be integrated into the new LifeSpeak platform as the “Parenting & Caregiving” wellness track. You will need to create an account in the new LifeSpeak platform to continue using these resources. Existing Torchlight accounts cannot be migrated to the new platform, but you will have access to all of the same resources. You will also be able to create profiles within the Parenting & Caregiving wellness track, just like you did with Torchlight.

How can I share access to LifeSpeak with my loved ones?

Once logged in, click on your name at the top of the screen, then click “Profile.” You will see a separate tab called “Sub-accounts”. From there, you can send an invitation to up to 5 family members or friends via email. You will not be able to view each other’s activity. You can also change the subaccounts by uninviting a family member or friend.

How does LifeSpeak’s library compare to what I used before?

LifeSpeak delivers the content and programs you’re already familiar with through a refreshed experience with additional content on topics related to fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness. While the interface and discovery tools may feel new, the core experience remains consistent. You’ll also have access to new goal-based programs to help you stay on track.

New content will continue to be added over time, and LifeSpeak will recommend topics and resources personalized to you through AI-driven personalization.

Is my information still private and confidential?

Yes. Your activity on LifeSpeak is private and confidential. Your employer does not see what content you view, what programs you use, or what questions you ask. If you share a sub-account with a friend or family member, you will not see their activity on the platform, and they will not see yours.

Who do I contact if I have trouble accessing LifeSpeak?

If you experience any issues logging in or accessing LifeSpeak, you can contact member.support@lifespeak.com for help. The support team is available to guide you through access issues and answer technical questions. You can also reach out to Health Canada’s Employee Assistance Services for non-technical questions at eas-sae@hc-sc.gc.ca.

Are the resources on the LifeSpeak platform bilingual?

LifeSpeak Inc. is committed to providing the best bilingual user experience and offers video, audio, and written content delivered by both English- and French-speaking experts. All communications, education campaigns, and program features are provided in English and French, and may include the LifeSpeak Inc. brand name. For marketing purposes, the LifeSpeak brand name is used in both languages to represent its wellness platform, which includes the Holistic Wellness and Parenting & Caregiving wellness tracks. Professional translators ensure all content meets high-quality standards in both official languages.

LifeSpeak Inc. uses highly qualified subject matter experts who deliver video trainings, interact directly with end users during live question and answer chat sessions, and write blog posts. While subtitles are available, LifeSpeak Inc. does not rely on them, nor on dubbing or voiceover narration to deliver video and audio content in both official languages, but rather creates equivalent content by working with both anglophone and francophone experts.
